At Inboxly, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our WhatsApp Business API management platform.

1. Our Role: Data Processor

Inboxly acts as a Data Processor, not a Data Controller. You (the user) are the Data Controller of your WhatsApp contacts and messages. We process data solely on your behalf and according to your instructions. We do not own, sell, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: name, email address, and password (hashed). Billing information: processed and stored securely by Stripe — we never store your full card details. Usage data: message counts, feature usage, and login activity for analytics and quota management. WhatsApp data: phone numbers, message content, and templates — processed on your behalf and stored encrypted.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the platform services. To process billing and manage subscriptions. To send transactional emails (account verification, billing receipts). To monitor platform health and prevent abuse. We do NOT use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

4. Data Security & Encryption

All data is transmitted over TLS/SSL encryption. WhatsApp messages are processed through Meta's encrypted infrastructure. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms. Database access is restricted and monitored. Regular automated backups are performed with encrypted storage.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained for the duration of your active subscription. Upon account deletion, all personal data and message history are permanently removed within 30 days. Billing records may be retained as required by law.

6. Third-Party Services

We integrate with the following third-party services: Meta/WhatsApp Business API (message delivery), Stripe (payment processing), and analytics services (anonymized usage tracking). Each service has its own privacy policy and data handling practices.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to: access your personal data, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your account and data, export your data (contacts, message logs), and withdraw consent at any time by closing your account.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use analytics cookies to understand platform usage. No third-party advertising cookies are used.

9. Children's Privacy

Our platform is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
